Nord Stream 2: The True Cost of Putin’s Gas
You are invited to an event outlining the controversial Nord Stream 2 pipeline and its impacts on Wednesday, January 24th, from 1pm to 2pm, in Strasbourg. This event is organised in cooperation with Marianne Mikko, the Vice President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE).
Nord Stream 2 AG, which is controlled by Gazprom, plans to build a pipeline along the bottom of the Baltic Sea from Russia to Germany.
Speakers from the E.U., the U.S., and Russia have researched the political, energy, environmental, and climate impacts of Nord Stream 2. They will present their findings here during the PACE session.
